Lawrence E. Nelson - Senior Attorney
Lawrence holds degrees in Law and in Business from the University of Puget Sound. He has been involved in the business and civic life of Puyallup since 1963 and has represented clients for many years in our community with an emphasis on real estate and commercial matters. As a former business man and owner of the Hi-Ho shopping center in Puyallup, he knows the challenges of running a successful business. |

W. Martin Arthur - Attorney At Law
Marty holds degrees in Law and in Accounting from the University of Washington and has extensive experience in tax research and tax return preparation. Marty focuses his practice on tax, business formation and estate planning, as well as on probate and entity formation. He prepares a wide range of income tax returns including individual, corporation, trust, gift, and estate.

Mary Gail Carver - Attorney At Law
Mary Gail is our litigation department manager and holds a degree in Law from Seattle University School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude. Mary Gail earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (United Kingdom Campus) while on active duty for the United States Airforce as an air traffic controller. She focuses her practice on real estate, foreclosures, landlord-tenant issues, and contracts.

Mark R. Arend - Attorney at Law
Mark Arend joined Nelson & Carver, P.S. in September, 2008. Mark is a former USAF Fighter Pilot and Officer, has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and operations with aggressively growing and highly successful start-up companies as well as the Fortune 100. Mark holds a law degree from Seattle University School of Law and a Psychology degree from the University of Washington. Mark was recently awarded membership in "The Order of Barristers" for excellence in trial advocacy.

Rebecca J. Wickham - Certified Legal Assistant
Becky is our senior Legal Assistant. She is responsible for the management of the legal work flow and legal billing. She is responsible for paralegal work for probate, foreclosures and entity formation. You may call her with any questions you have regarding your monthly statement, legal matters, or to give us information regarding your file.

Kay holds a degree in Paralegal Studies and History. She previously worked for five years with Davis Wright Tremaine, focusing in corporate litigation. Kay has seven years experience as a real estate sale professional as well as three years as an instructor of Real Estate Fundamentals.

| Jean is the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant for the Legal and Escrow Departments. Jean has bookkeeping and secretarial experience as well, and has been dedicated to serving our clients for more than 10 years. Jean is the first one to assist you in setting up an appointment, and the first one to greet you when you walk into our office. |
